Former India skipper Ajinkya Rahane is all set to enter a new chapter in his cricketing career as he has been roped in as a commentator by the Sony Sports Network for India's upcoming Test series against Sri Lanka.
Rahane will be seen giving his insights on the two-Test series that will take place in August 15-27 in Colombo, which will be telecast on the Sony Sports Network and streamed on Sony LIV.
The 38-year-old recently laid down his bat after nearly 18 years as a professional cricketer, starting his first-class career and has now joined the commentary desk.
Ajinkya Rahane to Offer Insights From 85-Test Career
Ajinkya Rahane played 85 Tests for India, scoring 5077 runs, 12 centuries, 26 fifties. His knowledge of the game and ability to assess situations on the field will bring added value to Sony Sports in the commentary department, as the channel looks to enhance its coverage of the upcoming Test series against Sri Lanka.
