New Delhi. Former Prime Minister of Pakistan Imran Khan has died in jail. This claim has been made by a Pakistani journalist. For the past several months, a question had persisted regarding former Prime Minister of Pakistan Imran Khan, but now this question has become even more serious.

Pakistani journalist Wajahat Saeed Khan has made a claim which has created a stir in the politics of Pakistan. According to the journalist, three senior military sources believe that Imran Khan may have died in Rawalpindi's Adiala Jail. However, the most important thing is that this claim has not been independently confirmed and no concrete evidence of Imran Khan's death has emerged. Therefore, at present it is being considered only as an unconfirmed claim.
What is the claim quoting three military officers?
In a video released on YouTube on August 10, journalist Wajahat Saeed Khan said that he had spoken to sources present in Pakistan's military headquarters. According to him, three senior military officers expressed their fear in different ways that Imran Khan is no longer alive. However, the journalist himself also clarified that these officials did not see the death of Imran Khan with their own eyes. He has only heard such things on the basis of which he has this apprehension.
After all, why so many rumors about Imran Khan?
Imran Khan is in jail since August 2023. For a long time, family and lawyers have been restricted from meeting him. Therefore various kinds of speculations are gaining ground. Imran Khan's family, lawyers and leaders of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) are continuously facing difficulties in meeting him. Therefore, questions regarding his condition are also increasing. A demand has been made by the family and party for permission to meet Imran Khan. PTI has also demanded an independent medical examination of his health.
Rumors had spread even before this
The rumor of Imran Khan's death has not spread for the first time. Even in November 2025, there were reports that he had died in Adiala Jail. Later his sister Uzma Khanum met him on 2 December and informed that he was physically fine. However he was kept isolated.
