Lucknow:Another controversial news related to the family of mafia Atiq Ahmed has come to light in Prayagraj. Supporters of Mohammad Umar, who is going to attend the funeral of his younger brother on parole from Lucknow jail, have been accused of creating ruckus and showing dominance at Nawabganj toll plaza. More than two dozen vehicles behind the convoy running under police custody not only broke the toll barrier by disregarding the rules and regulations, but also misbehaved with the employees when they protested and tried to run them over. After this entire incident, there was a stir in the area and the matter has now reached the police.
Attempt to threaten and crush toll workers
At the time of the incident, when the toll personnel tried to stop the vehicles as per the rules and collect the tax, the aggressive attitude of the people traveling in the vehicles was seen.
The employees allege that they were abused and given death threats. The domineering drivers also tried to ram their vehicles on the protesting employees, due to which the employees retreated at the last moment and saved their lives.
Sensational afternoon incident on NH-19
This entire incident took place on August 8 at around 3:50 pm at Nawabganj Toll Plaza located on National Highway-19. Actually, Atiq Ahmed's youngest son Aban had died tragically in a road accident while going to Jhansi. Elder son Umar, who was lodged in Lucknow jail, and Ali got parole from Jhansi jail to attend the funeral. When Umar was being brought under police protection, a long convoy of vehicles of his supporters followed the police vehicles.
Big news of this time. A case was registered in Nawabganj police station against the supporters of late Atiq Ahmed's son Omar Ahmed and about 28 vehicles.

According to computer operator Ajit and helper Anshuman Shukla posted at toll booth number three, as soon as the government vehicles passed, about 25 to 30 vehicles including white colored Mahindra Seeing the seriousness of the matter, Assistant Manager of Nawabganj Toll Plaza Jaiprakash Yadav has filed a complaint in Nawabganj police station. It is clearly stated in the FIR that along with causing damage to the government barrier, revenue has also been caused a huge loss. Nawabganj police station has registered a case on the basis of the complaint and started investigation.
