Actor Nikita Rawal faced an awkward situation during a red carpet appearance after a female fan kissed her on the lips. The actor has now reacted to the incident. After the video of the kiss went viral, several netizens expressed concern and asked Nikita if she was fine. Taking to her Instagram Stories, she thanked fans who reached out to her with messages of support.
Nikita shared a message from a fan who apologised for what happened at the event. Responding to it, she wrote, “Thank you so much for all the love and support. I truly appreciate it. And you know I’m right, I haven’t done anything wrong. I have nothing to hide, and I will always stand by the truth.”
In another note, she wrote, “Over the last few days, I’ve received thousands of messages from across India and around the world. Thank you to everyone who took a moment to check on me, send love, share kind words, and stand by me. Your support, empathy, and respect have truly touched my heart. I may not be able to reply to every message personally, but please know that I have read so many of them and appreciate each one. Thank you for standing with me.”
During the red carpet appearance, Nikita was approached by a female fan who wanted to take a picture with her. She agreed, but after the picture was taken, the fan moved closer and kissed her on the lips. Nikita appeared visibly surprised and tried to stop the interaction before moving away. She looked shocked and was seen rubbing her face with her palms after the incident.
Nikita had also recently grabbed attention for her comments on the upcoming film Ramayana, which stars Ranbir Kapoor as Lord Rama, Sai Pallavi as Sita and Yash as Ravana. She expressed her opinion on Ranbir playing Lord Rama and said she did not believe he was the right choice for the role.
Speaking to Bollywood Mascot, Nikita said, “This character is not for Ranbir Kapoor at all. Such a disgusting and characterless person, who eats beef and has said this publicly. What do you think that such a person will be able to understand the character of Rama?”
