Kangana Ranaut celebrated her first Teej festival at Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta’s residence, sharing glimpses of the festive gathering on social media. The actor-politician expressed gratitude for the warmth and affection she received from Gupta and described her as a “badi behen” for making her feel at home.

Kangana took part in the Teej celebrations hosted at Rekha Gupta’s residence, where she joined other women in traditional festivities. The actor-politician was seen dancing, enjoying music and taking a swing ride with the Delhi Chief Minister. She also applied mehndi to her hands and posed for pictures with Gupta.
Sharing the post, Ranaut wrote, “Meri pehli Teej ka toyohaar, at Rekha didi ke ghar pe, sach mein ek badi bahen ka payaar aur dular bilkul ghar jaisa apnapan. Sabko teej ki anek shubhkamnaein (My first Teej festival, at Rekha sister's house, really the love of an elder sister and affection is just like home. Best wishes of Teej to all).”

For the occasion, Kangana opted for a vibrant traditional look. She wore a green silk saree with floral detailing, an orange-peach pallu and a pink-toned border. She completed the look with traditional jewellery, including a choker, earrings and bangles, along with a red bindi. Mehndi on her hands added to her festive appearance.
Kangana, who is also a Lok Sabha MP, has continued to remain in the spotlight for her political views as well as her acting projects. Her latest film, Bharat Bhhagya Vidhata, is also gearing up for its OTT premiere.
