Samay Raina India's Got Latent Show: Famous Standup Comedian Samay Raina show of 'India's Got Latent' The show is once again in the news. However, this time not because of any lewd or vulgar joke. This time the reason for discussion of India's Got Latent is the disclosure of a foreign student. In the show, the Tanzanian student made such a revelation that Indians got angry. Indian taxpayers are especially enraged by the revelations of the Tanzanian student.
After all, what did the Tanzanian student reveal that enraged Indian taxpayers? What work is the Indian government doing due to which its own citizens are expressing anger against the government's decisions? Let us know this in detail:-
Actually, this whole controversy started when an X (formerly Twitter) user named Neha Patel shared a video clip of Samay Raina's show. A Tanzanian student who came to the show told that while studying in India, he got a scholarship from the Government of India (scholarship) and get stipend every month. When asked how he makes money, he reportedly said that he saves some of the stipend he receives from the government and sends it to his mother in Tanzania. What happened next, this statement created an uproar on social media.
As soon as the post came out, there was anger among Indian taxpayers. Neha Patel and the people who came in her support directly raised the question that on one hand lakhs of Indian students are struggling for every hostel seat and books in IIT, AIIMS and Delhi University, then why is the Indian taxpayers' money being given to foreign students?
Neha clearly wrote in her post- I am not paying income tax so that my hard-earned money can be sent to Tanzania. This is not education diplomacy. This is an insult to every tax paying Indian. He linked it to a family that is unable to feed its children even two meals a day, but spends money on neighbours' children to become better off.
