New Delhi : Indian Railways Seven new Amrut Bharat Express is all set to be launched to strengthen rail connectivity across the country. Connecting the major cities of North, Central, West and South India, these trains will provide passengers with a more comfortable travel experience similar to Vande Bharat at a relatively economical fare.
The proposed Amrit Bharat Express routes include Dhanbad-Coimbatore, Prayagraj-Mumbai Lokmanya Tilak Terminus, Prayagraj-Udhana, Subedarganj-Mumbai Lokmanya Tilak Terminus, Gorakhpur-Delhi, Gorakhpur-Bandra and Charlapally-Gorakhpur. The train connecting Dhanbad in Jharkhand to Coimbatore in Tamil Nadu will run through major cities like Gaya, Prayagraj, Jabalpur, Nagpur, Vijayawada and Tirupati.
Prayagraj-Lokmanya Tilak Terminus Railway Itarsi, Bhusawal and Kalyan are major stations on this route. Prayagraj-Udhana Amrit Bharat Express, this weekly train connecting Prayagraj with Udhana in Gujarat will stop at Fatehpur, Govindpuri, Etawah, Tundla, Agra Idgah, Bayana, Hindaun City, Gangapur City, Sawai Madhopur, Kota, Ramganj Mandi, Bhawani Mandi, Ratlam, Vadodara and Udhana.
Subedarganj- Mumbai Lokmanya Tilak Terminus
A weekly service is proposed between Subedarganj and Lokmanya Tilak Terminus in Mumbai. The cities of Fatehpur, Govindpuri, Bharua Sumerpur, Ragaul, Banda, Chitrakootdham, Kalyan and Thane will benefit from this train.
Gorakhpur-Delhi Amrit Bharat Express
The train connecting eastern Uttar Pradesh with capital Delhi will pass through Khalilabad, Basti, Gonda, Budhwal, Sitapur, Bareilly, Moradabad and Ghaziabad.
Gorakhpur-Mumbai Bandra Amrit Bharat Express
Running from Gorakhpur to Mumbai, this train will connect major stations such as Gonda, Kanpur Central, Agra Fort, Kota, Ratlam, Vadodara, Surat, Palghar and Borivali.
Charlapally-Gorakhpur Amrit Bharat Express
Connecting Charlapalli and 10 Gorakhpur in Telangana, this train will run via Pedapally, Mancherial, Ballarshah, Chandrapur, Nagpur, Baitul, Itarsi, Bhopal, Bina, Veerangana Lakshmibai Jhansi, Lucknow City, Gomtinagar, Barabanki and Gonda.
