He also said that the government has abolished a large number of outdated and irrelevant laws.

Prime Minister Modi said that India should not progress by depending on other countries. The country will have to become self-reliant by strengthening its capabilities. He said that many things are cheap and easily available in the world, but depending only on imports does not develop the country's own potential. Therefore, India will have to increase its ability to protect its own needs and interests.
