Black Pepper Fry Masala: Whole Black Pepper 2 tbsp, Cumin 1 tsp, Fennel 1 tsp
Ingredients for Paneer: Paneer 300 grams, oil 2 teaspoons, garlic a handful, onion 3, oil 2 tablespoons, cumin half teaspoon, fennel half teaspoon, curry leaves, ginger garlic green chili paste, turmeric, garam masala half teaspoon, green chili 4, coriander a handful.
How to make Paneer Pepper Fry
First of all prepare black pepper fry masala. Take a pan, keep the flame low and add black pepper, cumin and fennel and fry. Then grind it finely and make powder.
Now cut the cheese into thick pieces. Heat a pan, add some oil and when hot, add the paneer pieces into it. Now cook it till it turns golden. When it is cooked, cut it into pieces.
Now heat oil in a pan. Add cumin, fennel, curry leaves and some chopped garlic and fry for a while. Then add whole garlic cloves, chopped onion and a pinch of salt. Cook on high heat while stirring continuously until the onion turns light golden brown.
When the color of onion becomes a little darker, add ginger-garlic-green chilli paste and cook further. After that, add turmeric powder, garam masala, pepper fry spices and water. Now cook the spices until the oil starts separating.
Now, add chopped green chillies along with paneer pieces, lemon juice and salt. Mix slowly so that all the cheese is coated well without breaking. Garnish with fresh coriander and mix again.
