Digital Desk: The long-running discussions regarding the new national team of BJP have now come to an end. Party President Nitin Naveen has announced the new team.
In the new team, former Union Minister Smriti Irani has been given the responsibility of General Secretary. Whereas former Chief Minister of Rajasthan Vasundhara Raje has been made the National Vice President.
With the new appointments, BJP has tried to give place to young faces along with experienced leaders in the organization.
Special focus on young and female faces
Along with giving representation to women and youth, social and regional equations have also been kept in mind in the selection of Vice President, General Secretary, Secretary and spokespersons in the new BJP team.
The new team of the party is also being considered important from the point of view of the upcoming election challenges. BJP has tried to create a broad balance by giving representation to different regions and social groups in the organization.
Many leaders of Uttar Pradesh got place
Many leaders from Uttar Pradesh have also been included in the new national team. UP is a very important state for BJP and assembly elections are proposed here early next year.
In such a situation, the presence of UP leaders in the national organization is being considered important from the point of view of the upcoming election strategy. The new team will face the challenge of strengthening the organization and taking the election strategy to the ground in many states including UP.
Will keep an eye on the upcoming elections
The formation of the new team of BJP has come at a time when the party is facing the challenge of upcoming assembly elections in many states. Especially the elections to be held in Uttar Pradesh are considered very important from the point of view of national politics.
The party has indicated to strengthen the organization anew through youth leadership, women representation and socio-regional balance in the new team.
