What did Rijiju say on Gen Z movement?

Regarding the Gen-Z movement in Delhi and the demand of students for education reforms, Union Parliamentary Affairs Minister Kiren Rijiju said that the government respects the sentiments of the students. He said that the Prime Minister has made good laws keeping in mind the future of the youth and has taken continuous steps for their future.

Taking aim at the Congress, Rijiju said that when there were protests in the country, the Congress had taken steps like imposing emergency. He said that during different movements in the country, many people have lost their lives and many times bullets have also been fired.

He also gave the example of the movement to create Telangana state and said that during that time also a large number of people were killed. Rijiju said that no such incident took place in the current Gen-Z movement and not a single bullet was fired in it.
