In the coming week, banks in most parts of the country will work normally on August 17 (Monday), August 18 (Tuesday), August 20 (Thursday) and August 21 (Friday).

  • August 19 (Wednesday): Banks will remain closed only in Agartala due to the birth anniversary of Maharaja Bir Bikram Kishore Manikya Bahadur.
  • 22 August (Saturday): Being the fourth Saturday of the month, banks will remain closed across the country.
  • 23 August (Sunday): Banks will remain closed across the country due to weekly holiday.

The first Onam is Wednesday, 26 August 2026, due to which banks will remain closed in Kerala.
