Instructions to speed up revenue collection, Additional District Magistrate V/R reviewed non-tax and revenue works

Additional District Magistrate V/R Vagish Kumar Shukla, in the monthly review meeting of non-tax and revenue programs held in the Collectorate Auditorium on Monday, instructed the departmental officers to speed up the revenue collection as per the target set by the government. He said that any kind of laxity in the recovery work will not be accepted and accountability will be fixed for the officers lagging behind in achieving the target.

In the meeting, the Additional District Magistrate gave instructions for effective recovery action against defaulters at the Tehsil level, regular matching of RCs, security of government land and quality disposal of public complaints. He said that revenue cases should be resolved in a timely manner and land related disputes should be resolved on the spot, so that the common people can get quick justice.

During the meeting, while directing the Food Safety and Drug Administration Department, the Additional District Magistrate said that the food items sold in the market should be regularly tested and an intensive campaign should be conducted to effectively curb adulteration. He gave instructions to ensure strict compliance with the prescribed standards and government orders.

During the review, the Additional District Magistrate also reviewed the disposal of complaints received on the IGRS portal and directed the officers to dispose of the complaints in a quality and satisfactory manner. Deputy District Magistrate Ghorawal Vishal Kumar, Deputy District Magistrate Judicial Robertsganj Aakkshan Gautam, Administrative Officer Ramlal Yadav and officials of related departments were present in the meeting.
