Ranchi. Jharkhand CM Hemant Soren had announced on Monday that the results of all the recruitment examinations conducted through TDPL will be cancelled. After this, it was believed that the students' movement going on in Ranchi would also end, but it did not happen. The agitating students have said that the Jharkhand government has not yet accepted the demand for a CBI inquiry into rigging in the examinations. He has announced to continue the agitation until his demand for a CBI inquiry is accepted.

Agitating students are gathered at Jaipal Singh Munda Stadium in Ranchi. He has now given a new slogan 'One battle has been won, the war is still pending'. Students are now demanding that there should be a fair investigation into the entire recruitment process. In such a situation, the problem still seems to be continuing for the Hemant Soren government. However, other students including Devendra Prasad Mahato have ended the hunger strike. The agitating students of Jharkhand are maintaining unity. At the same time, the students who had joined after passing the competitive examination have now sought clarity from the Hemant Soren government about their future. Due to this, Jharkhand government may get into a new trouble.
The students' movement in Jharkhand is about to complete one month. Students are alleging rigging and selling of seats in Jharkhand Public Service Commission (JPSC) examinations. Jharkhand government is conducting CID investigation in this matter. CID has arrested JPSC Chairman L. Many accused including Khyangte have been arrested. At the same time, Dr. Ajita Bhattacharya and Dr. Anima Hansda, who were members of JPSC, have also resigned from the post. CID had also arrested BN Ram, PA of Ajita Bhattacharya, on Monday. Jharkhand government has been saying that the examinations were conducted under the supervision of the court. Because of this she cannot get a CBI investigation done. At the same time, many students allege that CBI investigation is being refused to save big people involved in examination rigging.
