'Fix the school' campaign was started from the native village-
Abhijeet Deepke started the 'Fix the School' campaign from his native village in Hingoli, Maharashtra. Through the campaign, he is raising questions regarding basic facilities, availability of teachers and quality of education in government schools in rural areas.
He alleged that no matter which political party was in power, the problems of rural government schools were not given adequate attention. He says that village children should also get equal opportunities like children studying in cities.
'If you ask questions, the condition of schools will improve'-
Deepke said that people have now started understanding the need to give priority to the issue of education. Taking aim at political parties, he said that not enough work was done to improve the infrastructure and standard of education in government schools.
He said that now villagers will have to ask questions regarding the education of their children. According to him, the condition of government schools can be improved by raising questions and seeking answers from the system.
Demand to fix fees of private schools also-
Abhijeet Deepke also raised questions regarding the fees of government schools as well as private schools. He demanded to implement the system of fixing fees in private schools, so that education is not beyond the reach of common families.
Under the 'Fix the School' campaign, CJP claims that the problems of schools in rural areas will be brought to the fore and solutions will be demanded from the government and administration.
