Royal Enfield Classic 350 'Gorkha' : Royal Enfield has launched the 'Gurkha' edition of the new Classic 350 in India. Talking about the price, its ex-showroom price has been kept at Rs 2,10,684. This special edition based on the Classic 350 has been introduced to pay tribute to the heritage of the Gorkha Regiment.

Booking of the motorcycle has started across the country.
The new Classic 350 Gorkha Edition has a special mark of crossed Khukri with Gorkha Green color.
There was no change in the engine
The 'Gurkha' of the Classic 350 is powered by the same J-Series 349cc single-cylinder, air/oil-cooled engine that is found in the standard Classic 350. This engine generates power of 20.2 PS at 6,100 rpm and torque of 27 Nm at 4,000 rpm.
5-speed gearbox
The engine is paired with a 5-speed gearbox. Royal Enfield has not made any changes in the engine or powertrain for this special edition. The engine has been tuned to deliver better torque at low rpm.

Twin-downtube chassis
In normal use, it can give a mileage of around 35 to 40 kmpl. The motorcycle is based on a twin-downtube chassis and its suspension is designed keeping in mind city as well as highway riding.
