Hisar Court Firing: The firing incident that took place in broad daylight on Thursday in Hisar district of Haryana created a sensation in the area. Most wanted gangster Vinod Panu alias Kana was shot dead outside the court gate. According to initial information, the attackers fired about 12 rounds at him.
The incident happened when Vinod Panu had reached the court for appearance. It is being told that he was coming out after the court proceedings, when the bike riding miscreants targeted him and opened fire.
Police intensified investigation into the case
Vinod Panu was a famous criminal of Hisar and cases were registered against him in many serious cases including murder. According to the police, around 40 criminal cases are said to be registered against him. According to the information, Vinod Panu was also accused of murdering the nephew of MLA Savitri Jindal’s PA. After the incident, the police surrounded the entire area and started investigating the matter.
Firing for about 2 to 3 minutes
Eyewitness lawyer Dipanshu Kadvasara told that first a gunshot was heard. After this, when he came out, Vinod was lying on the ground. Even after this the attacker fired several bullets and tried to escape from the spot. According to the lawyer, firing continued for about 2 to 3 minutes during the incident. It was told that the number of attackers was three. The police have taken action and said that one accused has been arrested.
Gang war and increasing morale of criminals
This incident has once again raised questions about gang war and increasing courage of criminals in Haryana. Earlier in Charkhi Dadri also, armed attackers had opened fire on a vehicle, killing two people. Rohit Godara gang had taken responsibility for that attack.
