The film is going to be released in theaters on August 26.

Directed by Geetu Mohandas, the film stars Yash along with Kiara Advani, Nayanthara, Huma Qureshi, Tara Sutaria and Rukmini Vasanth in lead roles. The film is planned as a big budget pan-India project and the story revolves around the world of crime and drugs.

According to the content description of the film, it includes violent scenes such as shooting, stabbing, throat cutting, attacks with heavy weapons, torture, hanging, arson and dismemberment. There has also been a mistake in the certification details regarding the language of the film. It is recorded as a Tamil language film in BBFC records, although the film is primarily made in Kannada and English. The story depicts the world of a powerful drug cartel leader from Goa who leads his own downfall due to circumstances and his decisions.

The ratings of Toxic are also being compared with Dhurandhar and Dhurandhar 2. Both films were rated 5 out of 5 in terms of violence. However, in terms of sexual content, the rating of 'Dharandhar' films was less than 'Toxic'. Dhurandhar received ratings of 2 and 3 in this category, while Dhurandhar 2 was given a rating of 3 for sexual content.

  • There has been talk of a direct clash between Toxic and Dhurandhar for a long time, but due to changes in the release schedule, the clash between the two films was postponed. Now the UK certification of Toxic has increased the curiosity of the audience about the adult content of the film. After its release on August 26, it will be important to see what kind of response the film's story, starcast and dark content gets from the audience.
