Shadab Khan all-round performance has set up Barbuda Falcons for a 3-wicket victory against St Kitts and Nevis Patriots in the 12th match of the CPL 2026, played at Sir Vivian Richards Stadium, Antigua.
He delivered an exceptional spell, and a rapid 30 runs off 12 deliveries set up their victory against the Patriots. By this win, Antigua and Barbuda Falcons sits in the fourth spot in the CPL 2026 points table.
Batting first, Johnson Charles and Kyle Mayers opened the innings while Jayden Seales opened the bowling attack.
The duo put up a decent start, before the dismissal of Charles for 17 runs. With Kyle Mayers and Andre Fletcher at crease, Patriots scored 51 runs in the powerplay.
The stitched a decent partnership for the second wicket where Kyle Mayers added 18-ball 34 runs. Andre Fletcher scored 20 runs before his run out while Wickham got dismissed cheaply for 2 runs.
Jason Holder (27) and Nikhil Chaudhary (15) did put up some contribution in the middle order and a stunning 17-ball 49 runs at Dasun Shanaka has put up St Kitts and Nevis Patriots to score 187 runs in their 20 over innings.

Shamar Springer bagged two wickets for Falcons while Jayden Seales, Shadab Khan and Moeen Ali bagged one wicket each.
Chasing the target, Amir Jangoo and Evin Lewis opened the innings while Kyle Mayers opened the bowling attack.
Mayers bagged the wicket of Jangoo for 2 runs in the first over while Obed McCoy bagged the wicket of Karima Gore for 22 runs.
With Evin Lewis and Hasan Nawaz at crease, Barbuda scored 46 runs in the powerplay. The duo forged a partnership of 68 runs for the third wicket.
Lewis added 48 runs before Kyle Mayers bagged his second wicket in the innings. Hasan Nawaz (33) and Moeen Ali (25*) added crucial runs in the middle order before Shadab Khan fired quick 30 setting up the path towards victory.
Shamar Springer also fired a 6-ball 15 as Moeen Ali remained unbeaten to complete the chase.
Shadab Khan was named player of the match. Speaking at the post match presentation, Khan said, “The last 24 hours have been crazy. I played a game yesterday, then travelled back to Islamabad before making the long journey here. I arrived around four and then played another game, so I think I’m still in a bit of jet lag. I’m not really sure how to describe it.”
