Technology Desk: iQOO has launched its new iQOO Buds TWS earbuds in India. The company introduced them on Thursday along with its new iQOO Z11 smartphone. The new earbuds have been launched in the budget segment. Features like 10mm moving coil drivers, dual microphones and AI call noise reduction have been provided in these.
According to the company, iQOO Buds can be used for up to 50 hours with the charging case. The earbuds come with in-ear design and have silicone ear tips.
iQOO Buds price and offers
The price of iQOO Buds in India has been kept at Rs 1,899. The company is also offering instant cashback of Rs 200 on select bank cards. After this offer, the effective price of the earbuds becomes Rs 1,699. The sale of iQOO Buds will start on August 24 at 12 noon. These can be purchased through Amazon. The company has currently launched the earbuds only in flame yellow color.
Support for 10mm drivers and DeepX 4.0
iQOO Buds have 10mm moving coil drivers. For audio, AAC and SBC codecs are supported. The company has also provided support for DeepX 4.0 sound effects and spatial audio. The frequency range of the earbuds is from 20Hz to 20,000Hz. Its in-ear design is made to fit in the ears and with the help of silicone tips, the user gets fitting.
AI noise reduction for calling
Dual microphone setup has been provided in iQOO Buds to improve the sound during calling. With this, AI call noise reduction feature is available. This helps in reducing the surrounding noise, which is claimed to make the voice heard more clearly during calls.
Bluetooth 6.1 and 42ms low-latency
For connectivity, Bluetooth 6.1 has been provided in iQOO Buds. Dual-channel transmission 2.0 is also supported in it. According to the company, its wireless range is up to 10 meters in open areas. The earbuds have a 42ms low-latency mode for gaming. Low latency aims to reduce the delay between the action taking place on the phone in games and the sound coming through the earbuds.
IP54 rating and touch controls
iQOO Buds have received IP54 rating. This is for dust and splash resistance. Apart from this, the earbuds support quick pairing with Android devices. Different touch gestures have been provided for control. The user can use gestures like double-tap, triple-tap and touch-and-hold.
Up to 50 hours of playback
Talking about battery, each earbud has a 53mAh battery. At the same time, a 525mAh battery is available in the charging case. The company claims that iQOO Buds can provide a total playback of up to 50 hours with the charging case. Battery backup is said to be up to 12 hours when using only earbuds.
Fast charging facility is also provided. According to the company, just 10 minutes of charging can provide up to 4 hours of music playback. The earbuds take about 1 hour to fully charge, while the charging case can take up to 2 hours to fully charge.
Charging case weight and size
The size of the charging case of iQOO Buds is 63×47.76×28.06mm. Its weight is said to be around 41.3 grams. The case has been given a pebble-shaped design, making it appear compact.
