T20 format is making its way to different corners of the world as a great advertisement for the game of cricket. The European T20 Premier League 2026 will give players from Ireland, theNetherlands, and Scotland more exposure.
Legendary names like Rahul Dravid, Steve Waugh, and Jonty Rhodes are part of the league as owners or co-owners of the six franchises. Noted Indian actor Abhishek Bachchan, who is the co-owner of the league, has stated that the new tournament isn’t a competition to any other league, but it is an attempt to grow the sport in places where it hasn’t gained popularity.
The upcoming tournament also gives players from Europe a chance to show their talents and why they deserve to be part of the international cricket calendar on a consistent basis. Established players who are set to be part of this event will also get a chance to pass on their wealth of knowledge to the younger stars.

Sportspark Duivesteijn in Voorburg and the Village in Dublin are set to be the two venues for the inaugural ETPL season. The Malahide ground in Dublin has hosted plenty of international games in the past and is a well-known venue in Ireland.

Star Sports Network has been announced as the official telecast partner of the event for viewers who love to watch the games on Television. JioStar, meanwhile, will live stream the matches on their application.

There are single match-days and double -headers during the course of the season. The first match of the day will be played at 3:00 PM IST, while the second game will start at 6:45 PM IST.
