Dharmendra Pradhan, Lok Sabha MP from Sambalpur, Odisha, had resigned from the post of Union Education Minister on July 25. After the leak of papers of NEET-UG examination for medical studies, there was a nationwide student movement at Jantar Mantar in Delhi demanding reforms in education and resignation of Dharmendra Pradhan. Apart from Delhi, there was a massive protest by students across the country against irregularities and paper leaks in the examinations. The main demand of the protesting students and opposition parties was that the Education Minister should resign taking the responsibility of the post.
Due to this movement, such a huge demonstration took place in the 12-year history of Narendra Modi government and due to this, Pradhan resigned from the post of minister. With the resignation of the Education Minister, the ongoing student movement of Cockroach Janata Party (CJP) in Delhi also ended.

What is Dharmendra Pradhan doing?
After the resignation of Dharmendra Pradhan, Pralhad Joshi has been made the new Education Minister of the country. He has taken charge of the Education Ministry. Dharmendra Pradhan did not disappear
Actually, the country's former Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan has not disappeared anywhere these days, rather he is active in his home state Odisha. He is attending programs of the party and the BJP-led Mohan Charan Majhi government in Odisha. Apart from this, Pradhan is also attending meetings and religious programs with BJP leaders.
Left Delhi and returned to Odisha
After resigning from the post on July 25, Dharmendra Pradhan left Delhi and returned to Odisha. After his resignation, he was first seen at the Vedanta Kesari Swami Lakshmananand Saraswati Pramanik Granth Unmochan ceremony in Bhubaneswar, followed by a book launch, three days later on July 28.
Participated in many programs of Odisha
After this, on July 29, Pradhan had discussed many important matters related to the development works of Odisha with the Chief Minister of the state, the Assembly Speaker, the state BJP in-charge and BJP MPs. The next day, Pradhan held discussions with Odisha's Panchayati Raj, Rural Development and Drinking Water Minister Rabi Narayan Nayak, district administration and members of social organizations to discuss the flood situation in Sambalpur due to rain and how to deal with it.

Pradhan between 30th July to 20th August
Apart from these meetings and programs, Dharmendra Pradhan is promoting the schemes of Modi government like Khelo India, PM Kisan, Samudra Manthan etc. On the occasion of 15th August, he enthusiastically participated in the Tiranga Yatra to every house. Pradhan was involved in BJP programs, rallies and meetings of organizations from July 30 to August 20. Along with this, he has been active in his parliamentary constituency as well as in Odisha.
Principal's meeting with students
On August 20, Dharmendra Pradhan launched the book 'The Bharat Model: Navigating the 21st Century' written by Delhi University student Shri Krishna Ranjan Patra. He discussed the ideas mentioned in this book with a group of young students. Overall, by resigning from the post of Prime Minister of Education, he is doing everything that a leader does as an MP. In fact, Dharmendra Pradhan is also known as the most efficient organizer of BJP. BJP knows his ability very well and hence is promoting him in Odisha.
