Hundreds of thousands of fans sought tickets for BIG BANG 2026-2027 WORLD TOUR XX: COSMOS IN HANOI, testing the capacity of Vietnam’s ticketing infrastructure.
CTicket used multiple technology layers to verify buyers, limit automated ticket-buying tools, secure payments and manage ticket distribution according to the organizer’s requirements.

The platform remained operational throughout all three sales phases. The V.I.P. Membership presale sold out in under two hours, while the VPBank Mastercard presale ended in under four hours. In the General Sale, the remaining tickets for both shows sold out in about 90 minutes.
Technology tailored to each event
For high-demand international events, organizers must manage not only ticket sales but also how tickets are distributed among potential buyers.
CTicket allows organizers to set event-specific distribution rules, including verifying members of an artist’s fan base or customers within a partner ecosystem and prioritizing buyers based on geographic location.
One of its tools, Real Fan, uses multiple-choice questions about the artist and event as an additional verification step instead of conventional CAPTCHA checks. The system is designed to help identify and limit automated ticket-buying tools.
CTicket also uses geographic filtering in addition to IP blocking and can restrict access through virtual private networks (VPNs).
According to the company, Vietnamese fans accounted for nearly 90% of successful purchases, while buyers from nearly 20 countries and territories also purchased tickets.
Payment security and sales controls
Bot activity and ticket scalping remain challenges for the global ticketing industry. CTicket has integrated buyer verification into the purchasing process rather than relying solely on controls after tickets are distributed.
During the VPBank Mastercard presale, the system verified payment cards at the partner’s request without storing users’ card information, according to the company.
“For international organizers, ticketing is a critical part of event infrastructure, not just a sales channel,” said Ngan Nguyen, CEO of Cresta, which operates CTicket.”
A good system must handle massive traffic, let partners control who can buy, protect fairness, and keep transactions secure,” she said.
The BIG BANG ticket sale follows CTicket’s involvement in other international entertainment events in Vietnam, including G-Dragon’s 2025 World Tour Übermensch, Daesung’s D’s Road Asia Tour, Tempest’s 1st Asia Tour and Kim Jae Joong’s Asia Tour, as well as fan meetings featuring Tiffany Young, Hyeri and YoonA.
As Vietnam hosts more international tours, CTicket said it plans to continue providing ticketing technology and distribution services for international event organizers.
