Madhya Pradesh Road Accident: A horrific road accident occurred in Betul district of Madhya Pradesh in the early hours of Saturday. A speeding car going from Nagpur to Sehore collided with a truck parked on the roadside near Paregaon Junction in Multai area. In the accident, three people traveling in the car died on the spot, while six other passengers were injured.
Police and emergency team reached the spot
According to the information, the accident occurred at around 3 in the morning. There were a total of nine people in the car at the time of the accident. The collision was so strong that three people died on the spot. As soon as the information was received, the police and emergency team reached the spot and started relief work.
The injured were admitted to the hospital
The injured were taken to Multai Community Health Center with the help of 108 ambulances, where doctors gave them first aid. According to health officials, considering the condition of three of the six injured, they were referred to Betul District Hospital for better treatment, but their family members took them to Nagpur for further treatment. Post-mortem of the bodies of those who lost their lives in the accident is being conducted. The bodies will be handed over to the relatives after the necessary legal process is completed.

This accident raises serious questions regarding road safety. The risk of accidents increases due to vehicles parked on highways and major junctions, lack of lighting and safety signals. Authorities are being demanded to strengthen road safety measures and increase surveillance at such places.
