Chandigarh attractions
Chandigarh is the joint capital of Punjab and Haryana. The city is famous for its modern structure and well-planned layout, which was designed by Swiss-French architect Le Corbusier. Major sites here include the Capital Complex, High Court, Secretariat, Legislative Assembly and the huge Open Hand Monument. Apart from this, the Rock Garden is also a major attraction for tourists, where a variety of sculptures and artefacts can be seen.
Package Features
Confirmed 3AC train facility is available for travel in this package. Passengers are advised to reach the boarding and de-boarding station at least 30 minutes before the departure of the train. It is mandatory for all passengers to carry their original identity card during the journey. The tour has a total of three nights accommodation: one night at M/s Lord's Inn (or similar category hotel) in Chandigarh and two nights at M/s Regenta Palace (or similar category hotel) in Shimla.
travel arrangements
The facility of road travel will be shared with small vehicles to explore Shimla and its surrounding areas. Passengers should keep in mind that the air-conditioning (AC) of the vehicle will not work in hilly areas. The package also includes sightseeing and sightseeing as per schedule. Talking about food, the package includes a total of three breakfasts and three dinners, served as per schedule. Additionally, the package also includes GST and insurance.

Tour prices vary depending on the type of package and occupancy (how many people are accompanying). For the 'Comfort' package, the per person cost will be ₹36,870 for single occupancy, ₹20,270 for double occupancy and ₹15,880 for triple occupancy. For a child aged 5 to 11 years, the cost with bed will be ₹11,460 and without bed will be ₹10,030.
For the 'Deluxe' package, the per person cost will be ₹39,740 for single occupancy, ₹21,900 for double occupancy and ₹17,530 for triple occupancy. For a child between 5 to 11 years, the cost will be ₹ 12,400 with bed and ₹ 10,840 without bed.
Excluded items
Airfare is not included in this package. Additionally, travelers will have to bear their own expenses like hotel porterage, tips, mineral water, telephone charges, laundry and other personal expenses. Entry fees to monuments or tourist sites, camera charges (still or video), and any additional activities suggested during the tour are to be paid directly by the travelers. The cost of meals other than those specified in the package – such as additional meals or meals taken en route – is not covered. The cost of any other tourist activity other than the places and activities mentioned in the itinerary will have to be paid separately. Travelers are also responsible for paying any applicable entrance fees.
