India’s Sri Lanka tour has been the you can call ‘blink and you miss it’. We are already into the second Test of the series and there is a lot to play for. India will want to do well and win this game and also the series if they have to make it to the WTC Finals.
Sri Lanka on the other hand will be keen on squaring the series. They have made few changes to the side and are without some of their key players who are out due to injury. Sonal Dinusha who did well in the first game of the series will be yet again in focus in Colombo.
For the Indian side, there are massive questions on Kuldeep Yadav, as the spinner picked just a single wicket in Galle. It would be interesting to see if the team decided to retain him or drop him. Who will come in his place? Will it be a spinner or will the Indians will play a third seamer?
What can we expect in Colombo?
The team that wins the toss will want to bat first as the surface does help players to score huge runs in the first two innings of the game. As the match goes on, wickets will start to show its true nature and bring the spin bowlers into the equation.
Weather-wise, one can expect rains to have their say and the skies to stay gloomy and overcast on all five days.
