Baramati: A shocking incident emerged from Maharashtra's Baramati on Sunday, where the 12-year-old daughter of NCP (SP) MLA Rohit Pawar's personal assistant Ajit Dashavatare was found dead under suspicious circumstances near her residence. The incident triggered concern across Pune district as police investigated the events leading to the child's death and examine multiple possible angles.
The girl's body was found in Sainagar area of Rui village in Baramati tehsil after her family had reported her missing the previous night. Pawar said his personal assistant Ajit Dashavatare had been associated with him for several years and described the incident as a major loss for the family. He said the girl's body was found near the building where the family lived and pointed out that a police complaint had already been filed after she went missing.
Pawar urged authorities to conduct a thorough investigation into the matter and ensure that all questions raised by the family were properly addressed. He stressed that the issue should be treated as a human tragedy rather than a political matter and that investigators should leave no possibility unchecked.
