DMK leaders got angry
On the cancellation of Parandur airport project, DMK leader and former minister Thennarasu has said, 'The airport is very important and important for the economic development of Tamil Nadu. Chennai airport is fantastic. Earlier it was at number three but now it has reached fifth. The approval of the Central Government was taken for Parandur only after geographical and technical investigation was done. People have been compensated and the land should be used for the purpose for which it was taken. In such a situation, it would be best to build an airport in Parandur. Closing the Parandur Airport project due to political reasons will cause economic loss and many industries will move to Andhra Pradesh.
