Mathura: This time the celebration of Janmashtami in Mathura, the birthplace of Shri Krishna, will witness a unique confluence of faith and modern technology. On the occasion of Shri Krishna Janmotsav-2026, for the first time, a grand display of the birth of Lord Shri Krishna and his various Leelas will be done in the sky through 500 drones. This view over the sacred land of the birthplace will be a center of special attraction for the devotees.

A drone show will be organized by Uttar Pradesh Braj Teerth Vikas Parishad on the night of 4th September. Council CEO Lakshmi Nagappan said that new experiments are being done continuously to give a grand and divine look to the birth anniversary. In this series, a drone show will be organized between 9 to 10 pm. In this show of about 15 minutes, 500 drones will fly together in the sky and create various scenes and figures related to the birth of Lord Shri Krishna and his pastimes.
Drone figures will be visible from a distance, special opportunity for devotees
The shapes created by the drone are expected to be visible up to a distance of about three to four kilometers. In such a situation, a large number of devotees present around the Janmabhoomi temple will also be able to see this unique Krishna Leela performance. Lakhs of devotees from India and abroad reach Mathura for the Janamabhishek held at the Janmabhoomi temple at midnight of Janmashtami. This time, along with religious rituals, they will also get an opportunity to see the modern display of Krishna's pastimes in the sky.

Lord Shri Krishna incarnated in the prison of Kansa on the midnight of Ashtami of Bhadrapada Krishna Paksha and gave the message of victory of righteousness over unrighteousness.
