Honda Cars India is all set to launch two new SUVs by the end of this financial year to boost its sales in the Indian market. The company will soon launch an electric SUV based on the Honda Elevate facelift and 0 Alpha Concept. Both these cars are currently undergoing testing on Indian roads and have been spotted several times.
Honda Elevate facelift
The Honda Elevate, which was launched in September 2023, will now get its first major update and the new car is likely to be launched this Diwali. The 2026 model will not have engine changes, but will see major updates in design and features. It will get a new front grille, updated headlights, new bumper and revised taillights.

The cabin of the car will get new features like ventilated front seats and 360-degree camera along with a new interior theme. Apart from this, the 10.25-inch touchscreen, camera-based ADAS and semi-digital instrument console will remain the features. The SUV will come with the same 121hp 1.5-litre naturally aspirated petrol engine as before, mated to a 6-speed manual and CVT gearbox option.

Honda 0 Alpha EV
Honda Car India will launch its first electric SUV in the Indian market by March 2027. The car is likely to be launched during the Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2027. 0 The Alpha Electric SUV will be manufactured at Honda's manufacturing plant in Tapukara, Rajasthan.
The production-ready model will be similar to the original concept design and will have a wheelbase of around 2700 to 2800 mm. The new electric car will compete directly with the likes of the Tata Sierra EV, Winfast VF 6 and Mahindra BE 6 Sports when launched.
