Amid weak signals from the global market, the domestic stock market also seems to be under pressure during early trading today. Today’s trading also started with a decline.
However, as soon as the market opened, buyers made buying efforts, due to which the Sensex managed to recover and reach the green mark after the first 5 minutes of trading.
Shortly after this, there was selling pressure in the market again, due to which the index once again plunged into the red.
After the first one hour of trading amid continuous buying and selling in the market, Sensex was trading with a weakness of 0.21 percent and Nifty 0.33 percent.
BSE Sensex opened today at 77,295.49 points with a weakness of 73.62 points or 0.10 percent. As soon as trading started, buyers made buying efforts, due to which within a short time the index jumped by about 95 points from the opening level and came in the green to the level of 77,390.72 points.
However, this momentum could not last long. After this, selling started in the market, due to which the index again plunged into the red.
After the first one hour of trading amid continuous buying and selling in the market, at 10:15 am the Sensex was down 164.58 points or 0.21 percent and was trading at the level of 77,204.53 points.
Like the Sensex, NSE’s Nifty today fell 43.30 points or 0.18 percent and started trading at the level of 24,175.75 points.
As soon as the market opened, buyers started buying, due to which the index jumped by more than 20 points from the opening level to 24,198.25 points after the first five minutes of trading. Despite this purchase, Nifty could not recover and reach the green mark.
After the first five minutes of buying, the weakness of this index kept increasing due to selling pressure in the market.
After the initial one-hour trading between continuous buying and selling in the market, at 10:15 am Nifty was trading at the level of 24,139.45 points, down by 79.60 points or 0.33 percent.
In the current trading, there was active trading in 2,832 shares in the stock market. Of these, 1,231 shares were trading in the green after earning profits, while 1,601 shares were trading in the red after incurring losses.
Similarly, out of 30 shares included in Sensex, four shares remained in the green with the support of buying. On the other hand, 26 shares were trading in the red due to selling pressure. Whereas out of 50 shares included in Nifty, six shares were seen trading in green mark and 44 shares were seen trading in red mark.
After the first one hour of trading, shares of stock market giants Adani Ports, SBI Live Insurance, Trent Limited, ICICI Bank and Axis Bank were trading with a gain of 0.38 percent to 0.02 percent.
On the other hand, shares of HCL Technology, Cipla, Hindalco Industries, Adani Enterprises and Tata Motors Passenger Vehicles Ltd (TMPV) were seen trading with a weakness of 1.43 per cent to 0.94 per cent.
Before this, on the last trading day on Monday, the Sensex had closed at the level of 77,369.11 points with a weakness of 171.72 points or 0.22 percent. At the same time, Nifty ended Monday’s trading at the level of 24,219.05 points with a decline of 32.95 points or 0.14 percent.
