Kishore Kumar considered Amitabh as his son and called him home, showed him his cassette collection!

Megastar Amitabh Bachchan and veteran singer-actor Kishore Kumar both worked together once and met each other on several occasions. In this episode, Big B has now shared some special memories related to him. These include the incident of a phone call, when Kishore Kumar thought of Amitabh as his son after hearing his voice. Apart from this, Amitabh also recalled the incident of visiting his house, where the singer welcomed him with great love.

In the upcoming episode of the quiz show 'Kaun Banega Crorepati Season 18', Amitabh Bachchan will be seen remembering Kishore Kumar. During this he said that he was a very kind hearted person. Met him many times and he was always very affectionate. Amitabh told that he also got a chance to sit in the recording studio with Kishore Kumar.

Big B said, “Once Kishore Kumar had invited me to his house. At that time, video cassettes were in vogue and Kishore Kumar was very fond of collecting them. Kishore Kumar showed me his collection of cassettes of films and videos from all over the world at his house. He was very excited about his collection and was showing it with great pride.”

After this, Amitabh Bachchan also narrated the story of a funny phone call he had with Kishore Kumar. He said, “One day when I introduced myself on the phone and said, ‘I am Amit,’ Kishore Kumar understood that the call was from his own son and singer Amit Kumar.”

Contestant Virendra Jaiswal, who was present on the show and hails from Khandwa, Kishore Kumar's birthplace, also spoke about the city's special relationship with the legendary singer. He said, “Kishore Kumar's songs are so deeply embedded in the hearts of the people of Khandwa that as soon as his name comes, people start humming his songs.”

Virendra said, “Kishore Kumar also worked as a singer, actor, writer and did many other works related to the world of entertainment. There is hardly any field in which Kishore Kumar has not left his mark. Even today in Khandwa, his birthday, 4th August, is celebrated in a special way. People sing his songs in different areas there.”

Virendra also shared an emotional thing. He said, “In Khandwa, when a child is born in a house, the first name heard in his ears is 'Kishore'. From this, it can be estimated how deep is the relationship Kishore Kumar has with the people of his city.”
