Aiman Anwar Retirement : Pakistan's fast bowler Aiman Anwar has announced his retirement from international cricket. Anwar has retired before Asia Cup 2026. Cricket fans are very surprised since his retirement. Women's Asia Cup 2026 is going to start from 28th August. Pakistan cricket team is going to play its match with India on 5th September. Even before this, Aiman Anwar has said goodbye to all formats of international cricket. He has said goodbye to all formats like Test, ODI and T20. Aiman Anwar has participated in three T20 World Cups for Pakistan and the ICC Women's Cricket ODI World Cup to be held in 2022. She has represented the country in a total of 4 ICC World Cups. Now he has put his career on pause. Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) confirmed on Wednesday that Aiman has announced his retirement from international cricket after playing eight ODIs and 37 T20 International matches for Pakistan from July 2016 to February 2023.

Anwar created a stir in T20 and ODI
Anwar is a right arm medium pace fast bowler. He made his T20 International debut against England in Southampton in July 2016. She became the 37th female player of Pakistan to achieve T20 cap. After this, in the year 2017, he made his mark in ODI cricket. He made his ODI debut against Bangladesh in Colombo in February 2017 and created a stir by taking four wickets in the 50-over format.

Aiman Anwar has played a total of 37 international T20 matches for Pakistan. During this period he took a total of 29 wickets. During this period, his best performance in T20 cricket has been 3/30. In his career, he has spent a total of 854 runs with an economy of 6.68. Whereas Aiman Anwar has taken only 4 wickets in 8 innings of 8 matches in ODI. His best performance in ODI has been 1/13.
Talking about his entire career, he took a total of 33 wickets including all formats in his international career of 45 matches for Pakistan. Aiman was part of Pakistan's team for the Women's T20 World Cup in 2018, 2020 and 2022-23. She also took part in Pakistan's campaign in the ICC Women's Cricket World Cup 2022 held in New Zealand.
Aiman Anwar will be seen in a new role
After good performance in domestic cricket, she has not been able to make a place in the Pakistan cricket team again. Now he has decided to put his career on pause. After retirement, Aiman will remain associated with sports through broadcasting and will now be seen in a new role as an official. After successfully completing the Match Referee Induction Course in January this year, she made her debut as a match referee in the ongoing National Women's Under-19 Tournament on Monday.
