Nepal News: The sudden flood in Bhote Koshi river of northern Nepal on Wednesday caused havoc. Hundreds of people are reported missing in this flood. It is coming to light that more than a dozen dead bodies have been found. There are 384 passengers missing, of which 291 are foreign nationals. These include 105 Indian and 93 Nepali citizens. Due to this flood, parts of Rasuwa district near the Tibet border were devastated.

At the same time, this severe flood has caused a lot of damage there, in which houses, vehicles, bridges and infrastructure projects have been heavily damaged. Local media says that thousands of people are missing in the flood, about whom no information has been received yet.
Four Nepal Armed Police Force (APF) soldiers posted at a border post in North Rasuwa have gone missing due to flash floods. Additionally, according to local media, 14 employees of the Rasuwa Customs office are also out of contact. According to the Independent Power Producers Association of Nepal, 15 hydro power projects have been affected by the floods. Of these, 10 are operational and five are under construction.
Roads and electricity supply collapsed

Nepalese Army has deployed helicopters and disaster relief personnel in the affected area. “Work is underway to collect information about the damage,” the army said in a statement. Meanwhile, fears have been expressed that Nepal's hydropower projects have suffered major losses. Roads and power supply have been destroyed due to floods. Nepal Electricity Authority (NEA) said at least six of its major hydropower and transmission facilities – Rasuwagadhi, Chilime, Trishuli 3A, Trishuli 3B Hub 220 kV Substation, Trishuli Hydropower Station and Devighat Hydropower Station – were damaged by the floods.
