“Our planning is getting leaked and reaching BJP” Why did SP chief Akhilesh Yadav say this in the press conference?

Samajwadi Party National President Akhilesh Yadav on Wednesday made several big announcements for the women and daughters of Uttar Pradesh. He announced that if SP government is formed in the state, every 12th pass daughter of the state will be given a free laptop and women will be given financial assistance of Rs 40 thousand every year. He reminded that earlier also, bicycles were given to girl students during the SP government and after returning to power, the work of distributing bicycles would be done again. Apart from this, a promise was also made to reopen 26 thousand government schools that were closed in the state. During the press conference at the SP headquarters in Lucknow, Akhilesh took a dig at the 'Lokmata Ahilyabai Matrishakti Yatra Yojana' launched by the Yogi government for elderly women and said that his party's schemes are leaking to the government.

Meanwhile, SP MP from Mainpuri Dimple Yadav encouraged the women of the state and appealed not to get bound by the old restrictions and customs of the society. He said that women should break all the restrictions and move forward with full passion, the party stands with them.

SP will increase the amount of Stree Samman Samriddhi Yojana

Addressing the press conference, Akhilesh Yadav said that recently a delegation from Japan had come to UP, to which the government had shown its achievements by showing the 1090 (women's helpline) centre. Akhilesh reminded that this 1090 service was started during the tenure of the SP government. He stressed that there was never any compromise on the respect and safety of women in the SP government and there will be no compromise in future also. If the government comes to power, the annual amount of Rs 40,000 given under 'Stree Samman Samriddhi Yojana' will be further increased.

'Those who don't understand anything are distributing tablets'

Attacking the tablet scheme of Yogi government, Akhilesh said that the laptops distributed under the SP government are still working fine. People who do not understand technology are now distributing tablets. He sarcastically said that if you keep dragging your finger on the screen of that tablet, nothing will happen on it. Akhilesh accused BJP that for them women have become just an election slogan. Despite the Women's Reservation Bill being passed, the government is delaying its implementation, whereas it should be implemented from the next elections itself.

'The greatest injustice is being done to daughters in UP'

Launching a scathing attack on BJP, the SP chief said that those who talk about 'Nari Vandan' should remember the daughter of Hathras and the incidents where the mother and daughter were burnt alive. Referring to Khushi Dubey, he said that she was humiliated by sending her to jail and today the maximum injustice is being done to daughters in UP. The government has no concrete work left except registering the FIR. Akhilesh announced that in the upcoming elections, SP will field more women by giving tickets than BJP.

New meaning of PDA and comparison of infrastructure

Speaking on hijab controversy and dressing, Akhilesh said that people of BJP also raise questions on the dressing of others and want to impose their will. He said that SP's 'PDA' (Backward, Dalit, Minority) slogan is going to unite everyone and 'P' in it also means 'prostate' i.e. 'stomach ache' of BJP. He promised that when the government comes to power, the primary schools and Anganwadi centers of the state will be made world class. Giving the example of the washroom of Janeshwar Mishra Park, he said that there is a huge difference between the infrastructure of SP and BJP governments.

Support of Jantar Mantar movement and Dimple's message

Referring to the movement at Jantar Mantar, the SP chief said that his party had supported it from the first day. This fight is 'BJP vs CJP'. SP MPs Dimple Yadav, Priya Saroj and Iqra Hasan reached there with full sincerity and supported the children. Dimple Yadav said that if everyone fights unitedly then it will not be difficult at all to defeat BJP.
