New Delhi. The sudden severe flood that occurred on Wednesday in the Bhote Koshi river of northern Nepal has caused devastation. A large number of people have become stranded due to severe floods. The missing also include 291 foreign nationals, including 105 Indians and 93 Nepali nationals. Amidst all this, Prime Minister Narendra Modi has talked to the Prime Minister of Nepal. He said that India is ready to provide all possible humanitarian assistance to Nepal.

Let us tell you that this devastating flood in Nepal caused huge devastation in the areas situated on the river banks and at least a dozen hydroelectric projects were damaged. Officials said that there was flood in Bhote Koshi river from Tibet side at around 9 am. He said that apart from Rasuwa and Dhading districts, Nuwakot district located south-west of Kathmandu was also affected by the sudden flood.
