Expressing deep concern over the entire matter, he has demanded immediate intervention from the government and administration. Mayawati said that the Constitution given by Baba Saheb gives every citizen of the country the right to live with equality and respect. In such a situation, instead of choosing the path of confrontation on any sensitive issue, a solution should be found through dialogue and within the legal framework.

It is important to respect the basic spirit of the Constitution

While expressing her views through social media, Mayawati said that Baba Saheb Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar has given a welfare, humanitarian and egalitarian constitution to the country. This Constitution provides equal rights to people of every class, caste and religion of the society. On the strength of this system our country remains united and strong. He clarified that the sacred texts, traditions and beliefs of all religions should be fully respected. It is not right to unnecessarily interfere in anyone's faith and everyone should respect each other's feelings.

Avoid unnecessary statements on religious traditions

The BSP chief also expressed his opinion on the habit of making unnecessary comments on sensitive matters. He said that unnecessary debates on issues related to religious texts, customs and faith should be avoided. Creating unnecessary tension in the society is not going to benefit anyone. Instead of exaggerating such issues, the best solution is to resolve them through mutual understanding and dialogue at the local level. When people sit together and talk, even the biggest disputes are easily resolved.

Administration should show discretion in internal matters of schools

Mayawati also expressed her opinion on subjects like uniform, purdah, chadar and hijab in educational institutions. He said that there is no need to create controversy regarding such matters. School management and local administration can resolve these issues peacefully with mutual understanding and coordination. He said that making small things a big issue spoils the atmosphere of the society. Therefore, all responsible people should show utmost maturity and wisdom in such sensitive matters.
