Bihar government started preparations, great news for 1.5 lakh daughters

Patna: There is great news for the girl students who have completed their graduation in Bihar. Under the Chief Minister Kanya Utthan Yojana, preparations have started to give incentive amount of Rs 50-50 thousand to about 1.5 lakh eligible girl students. The necessary process related to payment has been taken forward by the government.

Amount can be sent till 10th September

The Directorate of Higher Education has completed the verification of the records of girl students who have passed graduation from 17 universities. According to the department, the amount is ready to be sent to the bank accounts of eligible girl students by September 10. Approval of the amount for payment has also been received from the Finance Department.

Data of girl students passed till 2025 verified

The department has examined the data of girl students who will graduate by December 2025. In this, the records of about 1.5 lakh girl students have been found correct. Whereas the data of 2234 girl students was found incomplete. The concerned universities have been instructed to complete the records.

You get 50 thousand rupees after passing graduation

Under the Chief Minister Girls (Graduate) Incentive Scheme, eligible girl students are given financial assistance of Rs 50,000 on completing their graduation. This amount is sent directly to the bank account of the beneficiary student. The aim of the government is to strengthen daughters economically along with encouraging higher education.

At present, the focus of the department is on preparing verified data of eligible girl students and distributing incentive amount on time. After completion of the data of girl students with incomplete records, further process will be done regarding their payment.
