SL vs IND 2nd Test Highlights
Day 01
- Batting first, India went on to put up a massive score on the board, where Shubman Gill went on to slam a fifty.
- On the other hand, Devdutt Padikkal smashed his century and scored 117 runs. By the end of Day 01, India went on to score 300 runs.
Day 02
- Resuming the game, with a century from Dhruv Jurel, India went on to score 503 runs for 9 wickets before declaring the innings.
- Asitha Fernando bagged four wickets while Prabath Jayasuriya and Keshara Nuwantha bagged two wickets each.
- Starting their innings, Sri Lanka went on to score Sri Lanka lost two wickets for 8 runs by the end of day 02.
Day 03
- Resuming their innings, Sri Lanka went on to score 265/8, where Pasindu Sooriyabandara and Sonal Dinusha posted a solid partnership, showing some resistance as the side scored 265 runs by the end of day 03.
Day 04
- Resuming the game on day 04, Sri Lanka lost all 10 wickets for 290 runs and were 13 runs short to avoid follow on.
- Prasidh Krishna and Manav Suthar bagged three wickets while Saransh Jain bagged two wickets.
- Starting their second innings, Sri Lanka went on to score 229 runs by the end of day 04. They lost six wicket at the stumps. Pasindu scored 92 runs in his innings.
Day 05
- Resuming the game on day 05, Sonal Dinusha and Keshara Nuwantha stood firm, setting up the side to draw the game.
- Sonal Dinusha remained unbeaten on 133* runs as the side scored 429/9 by the end of day 05.
- Manav Suthar and Ravindra Jadeja bagged three wickets each, while Prasidh Krishna, Mohammed Siraj and Saransh Jain bagged one wicket each.
