Ori i.e. Orhan Avatramani, who is always in the news for his social media sensation and his unique style, has recently spoken openly about a very difficult phase of his life. He has mentioned an incident of the year 2021, which had a deep impact on his mental condition. Ori claimed that at that time senior actress Amrita Singh (whom he addressed as ‘Amrita Ali Khan’ in the interview) had given him severe trauma, which was like hell for him to go through. This incident had brought such a dark phase in his life which shook him to the core. However, he also believes that the mental strength gained from that difficult time gave him the strength to deal with the trolling and hatred he faced as a public figure in the future, the effect of which is now clearly visible in his stunt based reality show ‘Khatron Ke Khiladi 15’.
Remembered that dark period of 2021
In an interview given to Pinkvilla, Ori recalled that incident of the year 2021 and said that it was the most down and scary phase of her life. He said that the mental harassment and trauma he had to go through during that time had completely shaken him. When he was coming out of that difficult period, people used to tell him that this experience would make him stronger. But at that time he thought that he did not need so much power. However, later he realized that that trauma had made him so strong from within that now small things or people’s hatred do not depress him. Referring to this mental strength, Ori said that in a strange way he also thanks Amrita Singh for this, because the same experience gave him the ability to face the dangerous stunts of ‘Khatron Ke Khiladi 15’.
Expecting apology from Amrita Singh and rift with Sara Ali Khan
Ori has spoken openly about this controversy, but she has not yet clarified what actually happened between them. However, he has definitely pointed out that those who behave badly get their own rewards. This entire controversy has also affected his personal relationships, especially his friendship with actress Sara Ali Khan. In an interview given to ‘Hindustan Times’ in January 2026, Ori had said that his friendship with Sara can progress only if he does not ignore the behavior done by his mother and if Amrita Singh herself apologizes to him, then maybe he can forget this.
The reason for the break of friendship and the journey of ‘Khatron Ke Khiladi 15’
The news of rift in the friendship between Ori and Sara Ali Khan came to light when on Sara’s birthday in August 2025, Ori shared some of her pictures which the fans called unflattering. After this, the matter became more heated when Ori shared a reel whose topic was ‘3 worst names’ and in it he took the names of ‘Sara’, ‘Amrita’ and ‘Palak’ without the surname. Angered by this, Sara and her brother Ibrahim Ali Khan unfollowed Ori on Instagram. After this, Ori also shared some cryptic posts and in one post even called Ibrahim the ‘most shameless’. He has confirmed that now he has no contact with Sara and Ibrahim. Leaving all these controversies behind, Ori is currently trying her luck in Rohit Shetty’s stunt reality show ‘Khatron Ke Khiladi 15’ along with other contestants like Gaurav Khanna and Rubina Dilaik.
