Kawasaki India has officially launched the 2027 Kawasaki Versys 650 in the Indian market, with an ex-showroom price of Rs 8.63 lakh. The bike is available in a single fully-loaded variant.
Design and color options
The new bike will be available only in a dual-tone color option of Candy Lime Green + Metallic Spark Black. Except for the new dual-tone colour, the 2027 model retains the same design, features, hardware and engine specifications as the old model. Its deliveries have started across the country and its price has remained the same as the previous model.
Features and accessories
It features an adjustable windscreen, 4.3-inch color TFT console with Bluetooth connectivity and KTRC traction control. It gets a full LED lighting package with dual-pod headlights, indicators and tail-lamp cluster. Key features include stepped seat, tall handlebar, semi-fairing and 17-inch alloy wheels. Dual-channel ABS and Economical Riding Indicator are also offered for safety.

Suspension and braking system
The adventure tourer bike features 41 mm adjustable upside-down (USD) front forks and monoshock suspension at the rear with remote preload adjustability. For braking, 300 mm twin discs at the front and 250 mm single discs at the rear are provided. It gets a restyled upper cowl inspired by the Versailles 1000.
Engine and Performance
This mid-size adventure tourer bike is powered by a 649 cc parallel-twin liquid-cooled petrol engine that produces 65.7 bhp of power at 8500 rpm and 61 Nm of peak torque at 7000 rpm. The engine is mated to a 6-speed transmission and is also ready for E20 fuel.

weight, Dimensions and competition
Based on a high-power tubular diamond steel frame, the bike has a ground clearance of 170 mm. The seat height is 845 mm and the weight (dry weight) of the bike is 201 kg. It has a fuel tank capacity of 21 liters and a wheelbase of 1415 mm.
In the Indian market, the 2027 Kawasaki Versace 650 competes directly with the Triumph Tiger Sport 660, which is priced at Rs 9.45 lakh (ex-showroom). Meanwhile, while Kawasaki has given substantial discounts on many of its other models, no discounts or free accessories have been announced on the new Versace 650.
