The Class 12 student has developed more than 15 AI tools. According to reports, he pays his father Rs 2 lakh per month to work in his company and has also trained nearly 5 lakh students. Despite this success, he says the biggest lessons come from learning from people.
How did the startup start?
Raul's AI journey began when he was nine years old. His father was employed in Adobe. So he was familiar with high quality technology from the beginning. He had the opportunity to use this high-end technical equipment right from the start. This made him familiar with the applications, functions and other important things in the field of technology. Then he slowly started learning about AI. His interest grew. He started learning about search. These things did not stop here. Gradually, he started experimenting with the possibilities of AI. From there he started his AI startup.
Interest increased in the robot named 'MeBot'
By the time he was 12, his curiosity grew. He developed an interest in a robot called 'MeBot'. He made it for a school project. This was the beginning of looking at technology differently. Since then, Raoul has gone on to develop more than 15 AI products such as Meibot, Rescue AI, ZapGap, Investo AI and FeedFi. In all of these projects, he emphasized developing practical problem-solving tools rather than technical demonstrations.
Now he pays his father's salary
Today, still in 12th grade, Raul manages a startup company of about 15 employees. One of these employees is his father, to whom he pays a salary of Rs 2 lakh per month. While the arrangement may sound a bit strange, Raul sees it as an opportunity to learn from someone with decades of experience in the industry.
Aju Joseph has worked in many companies like Amazon, Adobe, Wipro and IBM. Raoul believes that this experience cannot be learned overnight or over the phone. Raul says working with his father helps him understand how tech companies operate and grow. He also joked that having a father in the company “is good for my marketing.”
