Exact date and auspicious time of Kajri Teej 2026 According to Hindu calendar, this year the fast of Kajri Teej will be observed on Monday, 31 August 2026. Tritiya Tithi of Krishna Paksha of Bhadrapada month will start from 9.36 am on 30th August and will continue till 8.50 am on 31st August. Since Uday Tithi is falling on 31st August, married women will observe a fast on this day and worship Mata Gaura and Bholenath. Religious significance of Shiva-Parvati darshan on Kajri Teej: According to mythological beliefs, Kajri Teej is celebrated as a symbol of the rigorous penance of Mother Parvati and the reunion of Lord Shiva.
