PM Modi seen doing yoga in Tashkent, India-Uzbekistan friendship seen in pictures

New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi is on a two-day visit to Uzbekistan. On Sunday, he participated in a yoga program organized by ‘Yoga Federation of Uzbekistan’ in Tashkent, during which he gave the message of strong cultural relations between the two countries through yoga. Let us tell you, PM Modi had reached Tashkent on Saturday, where he was welcomed in a special way. Pictures and videos of this welcome have also been shared by Prime Minister Modi himself on social media platform X.

Tashkent seen in tricolor colors

On the occasion of PM Modi’s visit, many big buildings in Tashkent were decorated in the colors of the Indian tricolor, including the Hilton Hotel. People of the Indian community also warmly welcomed PM Modi. Many cultural programs took place during this period. Along with dancing on Bollywood songs, there were also presentations of Kathak and traditional dances of Uzbekistan. Praising these programs, PM Modi said that he especially appreciated the presentation on the song ‘Ude Jab-Jab Zulfen Teri’ and Kathak.

There will be an important conversation with the President

During his visit to Uzbekistan, PM Modi will meet President Shavkat Mirziyoyev. There will be talks between the two leaders on many issues like trade, investment, defence, energy, education and digital connectivity. PM Modi also paid floral tributes at Yangi Uzbekistan Park. During this, President Mirziyoyev was also present with him.

Modi reached Uzbekistan for the fourth time

Let us tell you, this is PM Modi’s fourth visit to Uzbekistan. Earlier he had visited Uzbekistan in 2015. Apart from this, he also visited there to attend the SCO summit in 2016 and 2022. Relations between India and Uzbekistan have steadily strengthened over the years and both countries are working with each other in many areas including trade, security, education and culture. After Uzbekistan, PM Modi will go to Bishkek, the capital of Kyrgyzstan, where he will participate in the 26th summit of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO).
