The tour of England has proved to be very difficult for the Pakistan cricket team. The team is already trailing 0-2 in the three-Test series and now there is talk of major changes in the team before the last match. Pakistan's batting has not been able to show anything special so far. The team has not even been able to cross the 200-run mark in all four innings against England. They lost the first Test by an innings and 103 runs, while they won the second Test by 194 runs. The third Test match is to be played in Birmingham on 9 September. Before this match, Mike Hesson is likely to be appointed as the head coach of the Test team. Sarfaraz Ahmed is currently handling the responsibility of Test coaching, but according to reports, his future is uncertain. There have been some changes in the team also. Injured Imam-ul-Haq may be sent home, while Mohammad Rizwan is also being considered to be dropped from the Test team. There is a possibility of including Sam Ayub and Arafat Minhas in the team. However, the Pakistan Cricket Board has not yet officially confirmed the change in the coach or players. Mike Hesson is currently associated with Pakistan's ODI and T20 teams. It will be interesting to see how many major changes Pakistan actually make ahead of the Birmingham Test.
