Lazio details as Dia and Ratkov conditions to become obligation revealed for total €26m

Lazio completed several exits on deadline day, including some specific conditions for Levante to buy Petar Ratkov for €16m and Rennes to purchase Boulaye Dia for €10m.

The Aquile had been busy with new arrivals too, as they secured Albert Gudmundsson on a paid €1m loan with option to buy from Fiorentina, reportedly for a total fee of around €11m plus €0.5m add-ons.

Officially, they are both loans with option to buy that can become an obligation if certain conditions are met, but pundit Gianluca Di Marzio explains the precise conditions.

When it comes to Dia, it is reportedly a €2m loan fee for Rennes, with option to buy for another €8m, taking the total to €10m.

This becomes an obligation if Stade Rennais manage to avoid relegation from Ligue 1 this season.

Late this evening, the confirmation was made that Ratkov has joined Spanish side Levante UD.

This is believed to be another €2m paid loan with option to buy for €14m, which becomes an obligation if Ratkov scores 10 goals for the club.

Ratkov was always a controversial signing, as coach Maurizio Sarri famously said in January that he didn’t know the player who was brought in from RB Salzburg for €13m plus bonus.

Gennaro Gattuso wasn’t impressed with the Croatia international either, who leaves the Stadio Olimpico after just nine appearances, with only three of those in the starting XI.
