The Bombay High Court on Wednesday ordered the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) to investigate the death of actor Sushant Singh Rajput's former manager Disha Salian on his father's petition. After this decision, politics has intensified. BJP leader Ram Kadam has made serious allegations against former Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray and Aditya Thackeray regarding this matter.
Speaking to IANS, Ram Kadam said, “A father has lost his daughter. So who should be listened to first? Should we listen to those parents or to other people? Disha Salian's father is openly saying that the then Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray had suppressed this matter. Why did he suppress it? Who was Uddhav Thackeray trying to save?”
Aditya Thackeray's name is coming out openly in this matter. Just because the father is a common man, shouldn't he get justice? That is why he has appealed to the judiciary. “The judiciary will provide proper justice to Disha Salian’s family.”
Ram Kadam also reacted sharply to Rahul Gandhi's allegations of “vote theft” over deletion of names of nearly 2 crore voters from Maharashtra's SIR draft voter list. “If they lose the election, the EVM machine is bad. If they win, the EVM machine is good. If the judiciary rules in their favour, then everything is perfect,” he said.
If she gives a verdict against them, then everything is wrong. How can this be possible? If the name of any one person appears four times in the voter list or the name of a deceased person is on it, then naturally those names will be removed. Congress demands that he be kept. Why? Do you want to get fake voting done through them?”
On the appointment of Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust as its first CEO, he said, “Ram temple is the result of 500 years of struggle. This is a temple for which lakhs of people endured lathi charge and went to jail. Many sadhus were tied in sandbags and thrown into the Saryu river.
So, after the sacrifice of so many people and a wait of 500 years, a temple of reverence and faith has been built. For this reason, a full-time CEO is being appointed to handle the administration of the temple and the convenience of the devotees, with complete transparency. Around 6,000 people had applied for this post.”
When Rahul Gandhi and the opposition raised questions on the country's 7.8 percent GDP growth figures, Ram Kadam said, “The GDP growth of the entire world is close to 3 percent. More than double the GDP growth, which was estimated by the RBI to be 7 percent, has now reached 7.8 percent due to the leadership of Prime Minister Modi and the hard work of 140 crore citizens of the country.”
This is a matter of joy for every true Indian because fuel prices are increasing all over the world, wars are going on in many countries and countries around the world are struggling with their economies in these deteriorating conditions. Meanwhile, India is rising and rising to the top.”
On the help being provided by India amid the flood tragedy in Nepal, Ram Kadam said, “The whole world is saddened by the tragedy in Nepal. Because Nepal is our neighboring country, our partner and our friend, hence we have stood with it from the beginning.
Whatever necessary help could be provided by our government, we have been providing it. As far as the death toll is concerned, it will take time to get the correct figures as this is a hilly and remote area. There is still a lot of debris to be removed. Some Indian pilgrims, including people from Maharashtra, were stuck there during the Kailash Mansarovar Yatra.”
