Pune: Shagun Ganesh, Swayam Kothavle, Spruha Gujar and Vardan Kolte won the 4th Pune District Ranking Table Tennis Tournament organized by Symbiosis Sports Center and under the approval of Pune District Table Tennis Association (PDTTA).

In the table tennis hall of Symbiosis Sports Center at Prabhat Rasta, the finals of the tournament took place. In the final match of the under-11 girls category, second seed Shagun Ganeshe defeated top seed Sharanya Patwardhan by a margin of 9-11, 11-6, 11-7, 11-8 to win the title. Shagun is a Class 5 student at Mount Liter School and trains at the Champions Table Tennis Academy under coach Tehsin Ansari.
Under-11 boys group top seed Swayam Kothavle put up a brilliant display to defeat third seed Aarav Bapat by 11-4, 8-11, 11-6, 11-3 to clinch the title. Swayam is a 5th standard student at Abhinav Vidyalaya English Medium School and practices under coach Neha Kothavle at Hirabagh Table Tennis Academy.
Results in Under 13 Group
In the under-13 girls category, Spruha Gujar, the second seed, won the title by defeating the fourth seed Ahana Godbole 11-9, 8-11, 12-10, 11-7 in a tight fight. Spruha, a 7th grade student at New English Medium School, Shaniwar Peth, is training at Sarada Toss Table Tennis Academy under the guidance of coaches Makarand Sane and Dipesh Abhyankar. In the under-13 boys group, Vardan Kolte, the top seed, lived up to his reputation and defeated second seed Nabha Pancholia in straight sets 11-6, 11-3, 11-7. Varadan is a 6th year student at Educon International School and practices under coach Anil Bandel at Krida Prabodhini Table Tennis Academy.

All the winners and runners-up of the competition were awarded with attractive trophies. Director of Symbiosis Dr. Amey Yervadekar, Director of Symbiosis Center of International Education Amrita (Yervadekar) Ruikar, Deputy Chief Financial Officer (Deputy CFO) of Symbiosis Sunil Jain, Union Bank Regional Head Abhishek Jain, Indian Bank Assistant General Manager Deepak Arora, Symbiosis School Central Director Dr. Gargi Mitra, PDTTA Vice President Smita Bodas, Secretary Sriram Konkar, Symbiosis School Principal Veena Havanurkar and Chief Panch Madhukar Lotane were present.
