His ex-wife Sania Ashfaq has made many serious claims about Imad and his family in a podcast. Sania alleged that she had an abortion done against her will in the year 2023. He claimed that there was pressure from Imad and his family in this entire matter. Sania, while mentioning her third pregnancy in the podcast, said that when she told Imad about it, he was initially very happy. According to Sania, when Imad reached the hotel after the match was over, he was very angry. Sania claims that Imad told her that Pakistan lost the match because of her. In response, Sania reportedly said that perhaps this was Allah's punishment in the case of that child.
