Thunderstorm alert in 17 states including UP-Bihar, winds will blow at a speed of 65 KM

New Delhi: The weather patterns are constantly changing across the country. At some places the situation has worsened due to heavy rains and at other places the humidity and heat are troubling people. Meanwhile, on September 3, the Meteorological Department has issued an alert of rain and storm in 17 states including Uttar Pradesh, Bihar. In some areas, strong winds can blow at speeds up to 65 kilometers per hour.

There is a danger of heavy rain in Uttar Pradesh also. There is a possibility of rain in 15 districts of the state today. According to the administration, many parts of the state are still affected by floods. A total of 35 districts have been hit by floods, out of which the situation in 23 districts still remains critical. So far 16,784 people have been evacuated to safe places.

Thunderstorm alert in many states

The Meteorological Department has expressed the possibility of landslides with heavy rain in the hilly states. People have also been cautioned about lightning in the eastern states. There is a possibility of hailstorm in more than five states. Heavy rain is expected in Uttar Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, Punjab, Haryana, Telangana, Meghalaya, Assam, Chhattisgarh and Himachal Pradesh during the next few hours.

Bad weather is expected in Uttar Pradesh, Delhi, Bihar, Uttarakhand, Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, Punjab, Himachal Pradesh, Jammu and Kashmir, Chhattisgarh, Odisha, West Bengal, Gujarat, Maharashtra, Tripura, Assam and Kerala.

Despite the return of monsoon in Delhi-NCR, the rainy season has not stopped completely. The Meteorological Department has warned of a storm with heavy rain on September 3. During this period, winds can blow at a speed of 30 to 40 kilometers per hour. The sky is expected to be cloudy and rain is expected in the capital on Thursday. Light to moderate rain may continue in some areas during the next three days.

Weather of Uttar Pradesh today

There is a possibility of intensification of rain in Uttar Pradesh before Janmashtami. The Meteorological Department has issued an alert of storm and rain in many parts on 3 and 4 September. Auraiya, Banda, Chitrakoot, Etawah, Fatehpur, Hamirpur, Jalaun, Jhansi, Kanpur Dehat, Kanpur Nagar, Mahoba, Sitapur and Unnao may receive rain during the next two to three hours. Heavy rains are likely to continue till September 4, while rain is expected in eastern Uttar Pradesh till September 5.

Bihar weather before Janmashtami

In Bihar too, there may be heavy rain in some areas on 3rd and 4th September. The Meteorological Department has advised people to remain alert in view of the possibility of storm and lightning till September 6.

Uttarakhand weather today

There is a danger of heavy to very heavy rain in Uttarakhand. Orange alert of heavy rain has been issued for Dehradun, Nainital and Bageshwar. Yellow alert has been issued in other districts of the state also due to the possibility of heavy rain.
